Oslo Studentinnovasjon wanted a playful logo that could inspire, and give the students a creative boost. The logo needed to showcase the learning of young adults, while it gave and interesting appeal to new potential students.

A new logo that could be simple, playfull and young. Something male and females between 20-30 years old, could relate to.

The consept is taken from the phrase "out of the box", and inspired by the brainteasing game Sudoku. The logo itself is build up from a block, thats open. This block represents the student community in Oslo, and shows that it might be simple, yet they have to study and learn to find their way of using the box. Using common brainteaser, as a funny playground that was easily noticed by the targeted group.

We based our design on a easy noticable symbole, that we could transform into something bigger, more exiting and even something more serious. At first glanse it does not seem like an open box, this gives us the oppertunity to let the public use their mind. This little box is ment to let students be creative, give them an urge to explore and learn. We can transform the design, to draw attention on the street, or to make Oslo Studentinnovasjons stand to stand out on events.
